The Greatest of These Is Love: NOC's February 2024 Newsletter
And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:14
We have faith that God will provide for the children at Nile Orphan Care, we have hope for peace for their country of South Sudan, and the greatest thing we can do is love them. Love them all! Love the believers who are worshipping together at NOC and sharing the gospel to the community. Love those who are lost and blinded to the truth. Love them all and pray for them out of that love.
That is what NOC needs from you this month. To pray! Pray for eyes to be open to see His love in what God is doing through the hands and feet of the children, staff, leaders, and you the donors and prayer warriors! Pray for ears to hear the gospel as the tools taught through Discipleship Global are duplicated from one to another to another. Pray that God will soften the hearts of those in South Sudan to know His steadfast love and peace.
We are preparing to head to NOC in May 2024 with Partners in Compassionate Care. Our proposed projects, goals, and activities while serving at NOC in May include children's ministry and care, construction and site improvement, worship services, and more! Our main goal is to be His hands and feet and love on these children and this team. There is no project or initiative that will have a greater impact on these children than sharing Christ's love with them in a personal way.
Look at all those blocks! God is making a way for vocational skill development as well as providing shelter through that skill. The block building project is a way for the older children to learn a craft as they also help build the new dormitory for the boys! We can't wait to share more photos and videos of this gift.
Discipleship Global is visiting NOC this month! They will be checking in on the discipleship training, making sure the leaders have the tools they need to duplicate the training and make disciples who make disciples.
Our immediate needs include monthly donations to provide food for the children and a teacher wage increase from $30 to a living wage of $120 per month. Your monthly gift will be allocated to the greatest need at the time of receipt. The health and nutrition of our children is always our first priority. Help us be sure not one goes hungry in 2024.
What a gift for those who are able to go to NOC and love on God's precious children. But please do not miss the gift you have been given to bring them to the feet of Jesus for His provision and care every day. Thank you for your prayers, your giving, and the greatest of these...your Love!
